Emmaus 82

Welcome to Emmaus 82

March 3-5, 2023

Our Emmaus Teen Retreat is a spiritual weekend for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, where our young people take a journey of discovery.

The retreat name “Emmaus” is adopted from a passage in Luke's Gospel (24:13-35) where two of Jesus' disciples are on their way to a village named Emmaus and encounter the risen Jesus in a very special way!

The theme "Journey to Emmaus" reflects the message that Jesus is our constant companion through life's journey, though we often fail to recognize His presence.

Under the direction of Msgr. Rob, our pastor, participants are offered a unique opportunity to experience spiritual growth, to better appreciate their Catholic faith, and to experience God's unwavering presence every day of their lives. We accomplish this through friendship, community, prayer, liturgies, laughter, music, reflection, and personal witness.

The retreat is sponsored by St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the work team is comprised of teens and adults. The liturgies are Roman Catholic, yet members of other Christian communities are also welcome.

High School teens in grades 10-12 who have not yet participated in an Emmaus retreat may apply as a candidate. Applicants will be informed of their acceptance in mid February.  Applicants who are not accepted will be placed on a wait list and given priority for the next retreat.  Please note that your application is not complete until we receive a check made out to St. Aloysius for $175.  Please send to:
